The JLP participates in an International Women's Day Event
The JLP participated in the PSAC-Atlantic Region International Women's Day event in Halifax on March 8th, 2018. The theme of this year’s event was “Strong Women for Change: End the Violence, Do it Now!” with keynote speaker Jennifer Howard, PSAC Executive Director.
It was a great occasion to share information on the JLP Program. Both Atlantic Regional Field Coordinators, Angela Leger (left), Wanda Thomas as well as JLP Facilitator Wendy Shea (right) were in attendance to inform participants interested in learning more about the Program. Both Wanda and Angela also had the opportunity to co-facilitate a sample learning activity from the JLP workshop entitled Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace. It was well received and gave participants an opportunity to get acquainted with the JLP workshops.
